The western part of the United States of America is a beautiful place to live; it is home to many cities and magnificent natural geographic structures and regions. The west covers over half the land area in the nation. If you desire to dwell in the west, you have a choice to live on the pacific coast, the temperate forests of the Northeast, the Rocky Mountains, the Great Plains, the Gulf Coast and the Mojave, Sonoran, Great Basin and Chihuahua deserts. These diverse geographic regions covers 13 states. It is home to the great Grand Canyon and Yellowstone National Park.
In the west, the climate is the most diverse of the entire nation. Los Angeles is the largest city in this region. In the west you can enjoy the great outdoors; you can swim in the Pacific or Gulf, hike in the Rocky Mountains and white water raft in the Colorado River. The west is also home to Las Vegas; you can have a lot of fun in this city, there is always something fun and interesting happening. There are many different types of natural disasters you may experience in the West including tornadoes, avalanches, earthquakes, floods, mud slides and hurricanes.
As you clearly can see, the western part of the United States is perfect for everyday American living. If you do not wish to live in the western United States of America, you should at least find the time to visit and enjoy its many wonderful sights.
