Will people hear “the West” they normally envision cowboys, dude ranches, gold mining and ghost towns. All of these things created the reputation of The West. Whether you live in or are just visiting the Western States there is an array of never ending outdoor events going on all over.

A life of the West is never a boring one for people that enjoy the outdoors. The scenery of that comes with Western life is unbelievable with the beautiful sunrises and the breath taking sunsets. There are hiking trails, horseback riding trails, old ghost towns and views of wild horses that surround people who live in or visit The West.

They can also enjoy the country music that is popular with living the Western lifestyle. Even law enforcement keeps the tradition alive by still wearing their cowboy hats and boots just as the old sheriffs of the West did. People can actually take a short college course on how to learn western techniques and become a certified cowboy. This course goes for six days and afterward a person gets an actual certificate as a legitimate cowboy of the west.

Western decor is another popular thing that spreads throughout homes worldwide, with all of the rustic wood furniture themes. People that have seen the West either on a vacation or viewed scenery in a magazine and fallen in love with the style to the point they bring a piece of the West into their homes anyway they can.
